Manure Drying (MD™) System

Chore-Time’s Manure Drying (MD™) System creates marketable manure in a matter of days with the air you are already moving. In most cases, Chore-Time’s MD™ System can use existing sidewall fans, with some changes in fan staging and the possible addition of some extra fans.

Cost Effective

Handle the manure from 200,000 birds with a single dryer at an operating cost much lower than an air tube drying system for approximately the same initial investment.

Size and Capacity

  • System’s maximum length of 107 meters (350 feet) is longer than any other manure dryer currently on the market.
  • With one drive unit per tier, system’s long length saves up-front costs that can result from adding tiers to systems with less length.
  • After choosing the optimum length for your building, the MD™ System’s modular design can be stacked up to 14 tiers high to scale the system to your operation.

  • Loading system uses a single auger to spread manure evenly over the entire top belt.
  • With just one moving part, the loading system is easier to maintain -- no weigh hoppers to jam!
  • The MD™ System features emergency stop switches for operator safety and to prevent time-consuming problems before they start.
  • System includes an air bypass (patent pending) to allow control of static pressure so the ventilation system operates more efficiently, and manure moisture is more easily controlled.
  • System features a belt that is 60% thicker than our standard manure belt, with solid bands crossing it between holes for more pulling durability.
  • Snap out panels allow easy access to belt for maintenance operations.
  • Power units are mounted away from belt area to keep them cleaner and free of debris.
  • Chore-Time's Manure Dryer comes equipped with an access ladder and safety cage.
